Mt. Mahadev Summit Trek

Brief description : Mt Mahadev is the highest peak of Zabarwan range and also the highest point of district Srinagar . Overlooking the Srinagar city and situated at the altitude of 3966 meters (13011 feet) ASL , Mt Mahadev is visible from most areas of Srinagar city . It lies in close proximity to Dachigam National Park and due to this close proximity to the national park , the region is rich in flora and fauna . The summit of Mt Mahadev provides breathtaking views of City of Srinagar , Dachigam National Park , Mount Nun Kun , Mount Kolahoi , Mount Harmukh .

Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival , Pick up and transfer to Hotel / Houseboat .

Day 2 : Short Hike to Shankarachriya . Sightseeing in Srinagar : Mughal Gardens , Shikara Ride .

Day 3: Trek from Fakirgujri , Daraa to Lidwas via Bobjan .

Day 4 : Lidwas to Summit and return to Lidwas .

Day 5 : Lidwas to Fakirgujri Daraa and Transfer to Hotel .

Day 6 : Departure
