Kashmir Tulips with Gurez

Early Spring is one of the best times to visit Kashmir. As the weather starts warming up, the Valley breaks off the shackles of Winter and new life emerges. The harbingers of the Spring are the Blossoms on the Fruit Trees that abound in the Valley starting with the Almonds. Around the same time the famous Tulip Garden, set in the Laps of the Zabarwan Mountains and on the banks of the Dal Lakes start to Bloom. The Tulip Bloom usually starts towards the end of March and lasts for a period of 3 to 4 Weeks.

And Gurez the Valley of the Shina is at its pristine best in Spring. On the Northern fringes of the Kashmir Valley astride the ancient Silk Route lies the Gurez Valley, the Land of the Shina People. The Kishanganga River nurtures this beautiful Valley which lies at the Crossroads of the Himalayas

Our Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Srinagar and proceed for Tulip Garden. After the first visit to the Tulip Garden and some Local Sightseeing (depending on your Flight timing). Stay at Srinagar Homestay

Day 2: Early Morning Departure from Srinagar to Gurez (app 6 Hours) along the banks of Wular Lake via the Razdan Pass. Overnight Stay at the JK Tourism Guest House / Hotel Wood Vibes in Dawar in Gurez.

Day 3: Gurez Local Sightseeing. Visit the Villages to Tulail and Shiekhpora. And catch glimpses of the beautiful Habba Khatoon. Just hang around the Place. Overnight Stay at the JK Tourism Guest House / Hotel Wood Vibes in Dawar.

Day 4: Early Morning Departure from Gurez to Gulmarg. On the way visit the ancient Capital of Kashmir Parihaspora. Overnight Stay at the Hotel Pine Palace in Gulmarg.

Day 5 : Ride the Gondola which is a breathtaking experience as you are transported to a height of above 13000 feet absl and the views are just exhilarating. Return to Srinagar in the Afternoon.

Day 6 : Return to Srinagar and Transfer to Airport.
