Thiksey Homestay

Location: Located 19kms east of Leh, it takes around 40 minutes to reach Thiksey homestay which is located on the highway from Leh to Kharu.

About Homestay: Homestay is a 2-story building facing Thiksey Gompa on one side and Matho Monastery on the other. One can explore the remains of ancient Nyarma University and nunnery in the village along with seeking blessings through morning prayers.

Host: A simple family, occupied in their daily chores usually taking care of their greenhouse farm and pets. The Host, is a homemaker who enjoys attending guests and sharing her farm food.
