Karsha Homestay

Location: Located not so far from Padum, Karsha Homestay is situated atop hill and at 11 kms from Padum and it takes 10 hours to reach from Leh if you take the road via Lingshed.

About Karsha: Famous for its Gustor (mask festival), Karsha Monastery is an ancient monastery that preserves 1000-year-old bone relics of Dorje Rinchen. One can visit the festival every year. Karsha belongs to yellow hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism

Host: The Host runs a small shop in the village. House made of mud and practicing the old farming practices, the family is now busy knowing their guests and taking them along to their daily works. Homestay is decorated oldstyle with mounted heads and haystacks.
