Some Glimpses of our incredible Journey into the Shyok Valley to view the Galwan Valley excatly 5 years after the Galwan incident took place. We were the first Overlanding Group who visited Galwan as a part of our Karakoram Odyssey exploring the Eastern Karakorams in Ladakh.
It was indeed a fine day for someone who has an interest in the Trade Routes and to visit and see the Chang Chenmo River was also one of the Highlights. Also the remians of the Silk Route as this was the traditional Route North over the Karakoram Pass. And the remains of an Old Mud Fort on the way.
Above all the sheer desolation so aptly described by Explorers in the Past was still there to witness. This was amazingly overwhelming.
Looking forward to the next Edition of the Karakoram Odyssey plana for which are already afoot.
