It takes around 4 hours to reach homestay crossing dirt roads on your way from Padum and around 3 hours from Darcha Sumdho after crossing ShinkuLa
About Homestay: Homestay faces the famous Gombo Ronjon Peak and situated right on the road alongside small streams. One can visit the 25 years old Solar Passive Constructed school that keeps it warm during winters and cold in summers. Host: The Host runs a small confectionery shop in the beautiful village of Kargiak. Famous amongst the biker groups as it is the last village of Zanskar and first village too when you enter from Manali. Come from wherever, yak cheese made locally is a must try
