Harmony with Nature

StoneHedge was built upon the concept of vernacular and green architecture. Use of mud, local stone, wood, wastewater treatment, solar, reusable materials, minimum use of plastics helps minimise adverse impact on local environment.

StoneHedge grows its own or source it locally available herbs, vegetables, milk, cheese, butter & local wheat for authentic Ladakhi cuisines and signature dishes. We also serves home baked bread, filter coffee & freshly plucked mint tea

About Us

After 15 years of successful operation Organic Retreat in Hundar, StoneHedge is the second project of the local family called Nerchungpa. It was established in November 2018 at an altitude of 3048M in Hundar village of Nubra Valley, it overlooks confluence of three different range, Ladakh range, Karakorum and Saltoro range. One can also have panoramic view of Nubra valley and the Sand Dunes are a kilometer away.
