Kashmir Winter Experience

If Snow and Cold is what you yearn to see than there is no better place than the Kashmir Valley with a myriad of destinations which get a lot of Snow starting usually in December all the way to the end of March when Spring arrives in the Valley. Places like the Famous Ski Resort and one of the favorite Winter Destinations in India, Gulmarg which gets an extreme amount of Snow fall every year.

This Winter program has been specially crafted to give you an authentic Winter experience with lots of Snow and Winter activities thrown in. And we ensure that at the same time you get to Stay in Warm Cosy places and taste delicious Kashmiri Cuisine and get a great overall Cultural Experience as well.

Day 1 : Pick Up on Arrival at the Srinagar Airport, First Day of your arrival Kashmir and you Stay in Srinagar for Acclimatization to the Cold Weather. Acclimatization helps your body to get used to the Cold and its essential to enjoy the rest of the Journey. Night Stay at the Khanda Kothi.

Day 2 : Transfer to Gulmarg, the famous Ski Resort. Night stay at Gulmarg. At an altitude of 2650m its a Meadow in the Pir Panjals and is dominated by the Apharwat Mountain. Gulmarg gets very heavy Snowfalls and is considered one of the best Skiing destinations in the World. Night stay at the Shaw Inn / Eq in Gulmarg.

Day 3 : Gulmarg : Wake up to Snow Covered Gulmarg. Enjoy the Snows of Gulmarg. Skiing lessons for the whole family and other Snow activities that you might be interested in. You can also take a ride upto 14000ft in the Gondola in case the Weather permits. Night stay at the Al Barq Cottage in Gulmarg.

Day 4 : Return to Srinagar. Have a Winter Shikara Ride in Dal Lake. Visit the Shankaracharya Temple or have a Walk through the Old City of Srinagar and witness its wonderful Heritage. Night Stay in Srinagar

Day 5 : Transfer to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is a beautiful Valley around the Lidder River and the Day would be be spent by the Lidder River at the Mir Lidder Lodge.

Day 6 : Pahalgam Sightseeing. Visit the Aru Valley and the Betaab Valley in Pahalgam. These Valleys would have a lot of Snow and a different experience from other places. Night Stay at the Mir Lidder Lodge.

Day 7 : Transfer to Airport and Return.
