Kashmir Tulips and Snows
Early Spring is one of the best times to visit Kashmir. As the weather starts warming up, the Valley breaks off the shackles of Winter and new life emerges after the slumber of Winter. One of the harbingers of the Spring are the Blossoms on the Fruit Trees that abound in the Valley starting with the Almonds. Around the same time the famous Tulip Garden, set in the Laps of the Zabarwan Mountains and on the banks of the Dal Lakes comes to life. The Tulip Bloom usually starts towards the end of March and lasts for a period of 3 to 4 Weeks.
